On Tuesday July 21, The Board of Directors of the Boulder Philharmonic
unanimously approved the bylaw changes that empower musician directors.

Update from June 16 BPO Members Meeting

New mission statement was formally adopted:

The mission of the BPO is: To infuse the Boulder region’s artistic
and educational cultures with the entertaining and inspiring
power of orchestral music, performed with excellence.

*Note: The section of the bylaws pertaining to Members reads as follows.

Article III: Membership

Section 1.

A.    The members of the BPO shall consist of individuals who are listed as contributors to, season ticket holders of, volunteers for, or members of an
auxiliary organization of the BPO.

B.    The members of the BPO shall meet annually to elect members of the
Board of Directors, to receive reports and to conduct such other
business as may be necessary.

C.    Members shall be entitled to one vote each, regardless of the
nature of the contribution.
